Haotique (b. 1994 Athens) is a visual artist and photographer currently living in Athens. She is holding a Bachelor in Fine Arts from University of Ioannina and a Master’s in Digital Communication and Social Media from Deree – The American college of Greece. She is interested in visual media such as video, photography and installation. Her inspiration is the human body and skin especially female bodies, in an attempt to present it in it’s natural state, detaching it from the stereotypes it has been historically entrapped in through objectification and purification alike. Her practice is about how a female body can transform, adapt and experience the external stimulations of our society and depicts them through images and installations. Her aim is to bring back the freedom and respect towards the female body and change the perception of erotism between nature and females. Her basic elements on her work are water, bodies, lines shapes, skin and nature.
